Cheryl R. Mcfee, DVM

Dr. McFee has been a member of the veterinary team at Countryside Animal Hospital since 2007. She spent her childhood in Bainbridge, New York, but now calls Staatsburg home. Dr. McFee has two undergraduate degrees, one from SUNY Delhi (1980) and one from SUNY Binghamton (1986). She then went on to veterinary school at Cornell University, earning her DVM degree in 1990. Previously, she practiced veterinary medicine at Pawling Animal Clinic, as well as animal hospitals in Middletown and Wurtsboro, New York. She has a special interest in rabbit and guinea pig medicine.

In her spare time, Dr. McFee enjoys activities such as horseback riding, downhill and cross-country skiing, hiking, swimming, biking. She also keeps busy with her sons and three little granddaughters. She is active in church and loves teaching Sunday school. Her menagerie of pets at home includes 1 dog, 2 horses,1 cat, and a flock of wonderful chickens.
