Dr. Pacchiana is a board-certified veterinary surgeon. Once this Connecticut native discovered his love of the veterinary field, he decided to attend the University of Minnesota's College of Veterinary Medicine in St. Paul.

After a variety of general and surgical internships, Dr. Pacchiana returned to the University of Minnesota to complete a Master of Science degree in Veterinary Surgery, Anesthesia, and Radiology. During this time, he also completed a three-year residency in veterinary surgery. Dr. Pacchiana went on to pass the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) exam in 2003 and has maintained board-certification since that time.

Dr. Pacchiana has held both medical director and chief of staff roles at numerous New York practices before starting Cutting Edge Veterinary Surgery. He has performed thousands of orthopedic, soft tissue, and neurosurgical procedures, and has experience in treating almost all surgical conditions in dogs and cats.
